Scholastica was established in 1977 by Mrs. Yasmeen Murshed. It was founded with a mission to provide a balanced and well-rounded education for all of our students, using English as the primary medium of instruction but placing equal emphasis on Bangla. Scholastica's mission is to build curious, knowledgeable and caring young individuals, who will be equipped to tackle head-on the challenges of our modern-day "global village". They will aspire to become responsible citizens, who will embrace and respect people from other cultures and walks of life, and contribute meaningfully to society.

  • introduce sophisticated technology to manage data and information systems
  • launch an internship program
  • introduce multimedia technology in classrooms

Jul 31: Wasiqa Rahman, Class IV, Mirpur Campus, secured a Top 15 position in the Spelling Bee Competition organized by Bangladesh IQ Olympiad.

Jul 31: Sarker Muntasir Yuaan, from KG I, Junior Campus Uttara, secured 3rd Position at the 3rd Summer Speed Skating Marathon 2026 in Dhaka.

Jul: Saafia Islam (Class X, Senior Campus Uttara) and Mubarrat Mihan (Class X, Mirpur Campus) were selected to study at UWC Atlantic College, Wales, UK, for the 2026–2028 academic session.

Jul: Ahmed Abdullah Raazik Khan, Class III, Mirpur Campus, won a Silver Award at WMI 2026 in Japan, a Gold Medal in the International Spell Bee Competition by GEMA, Dubai, and a Gold Certificate in the Summer Story Writing Competition by Bright Light Education, UK.
